The staff of the Pottery Workshop is unique. They come from all over China, and even outside China, to work in this exciting environment. Besides their regular jobs, each employee is a talented artist.
乐天陶社的员工每个都是相当优秀的，他们来自中国各地，有些更来自国外。由于乐天优越的工作环境，员工们除了日常的工作外，也会同时创作自己的作品，可以说他们每一个人都称得上是艺术家。

Caroline Cheng 郑祎

Caroline Cheng is the Director of  The Pottery Workshop. Cheng has been an independent studio artist for the last 17 years and enjoys being the Big Cheese at the Pottery Workshop. She has had 7 solo and over 50 group exhibitions; including Hong Kong, Beijing, USA and Paris. Cheng is an active promoter of ceramics in Hong Kong and China.
郑祎女士是乐天陶社社长。作为艺术家，郑祎女士拥有自己的独立工作室已经有17年的时间了，同时她很尽责的管理着整个乐天陶社。她本人已经成功举办过7次 的个人作品展，她参与的集体展览超过50次，展览的地点包括香港，北京，美国和巴黎。郑祎女士同时也在香港和中国大陆积极推进陶瓷艺术的发展。

Takeshi Yasuda 安田猛

Takeshi Yasuda is a professional artist for the last 30 years+. He is well known for his unique tableware and his critical survey of European eating habits. His work is represented in numerous collections including the Victoria and Albert Museum. Takeshi has held one-man exhibitions in Europe, Australia and Japan.
安田猛先生是世界知名陶艺家，从事艺术工作已经30多年，除了创作了很多非常著名的陶瓷作品以外，他对欧洲饮食习惯也很有研究。他的陶瓷艺术作品被很多博物馆收藏和展示，这其中包括英国的”维多利亚和阿尔伯特博物馆”（V&A），同时他在欧洲，澳大利要和日本多次举办过个人作品展。

Design studio

Dryden Wells

Dryden Wells comes to the Pottery Workshop from St. Louis, Missouri. Having recently completed his Graduate Studies in ceramics at Texas Tech University in May 2008, Wells joins the PWS Staff to assist in the maintenance and development of the Design Studio. Wells works both in domestic wares and sculptural ceramics which have been exhibited extensively in the USA in the last two years. While the subject of Wells’ sculptures remains animal-form based, his recent research has focused on the interplay of multiple forms to create interiors, exteriors and the experience of movement.
Dryden Wells来自美国密苏里州的圣路易斯，08年5月他取得了德克萨斯理工大学的陶瓷硕士学位，7月，他加入景德镇乐天陶社，主要负责设计工作室的日常管理和发展工作。Dryden的作品主要是家用器皿和基于动物形态的陶瓷雕塑，在过去的两年中，他在美国参加了多次的展览。Dryden最近作品的主要焦点是多种形式（包括内部，外部，运动体验等）间的相互作用。

Qi Ming 綦明

2001 graduated from Jingdezhen Ceramic Institute BA；08 graduated from West Virginia University MA；Now working in  The Pottery Workshop Jingdezhen Design Studio.
2001年本科毕业于景德镇陶瓷学院；08年研究生毕业于美国西弗吉尼亚州立大学陶艺专业；现工作于景德镇乐天陶社
设计工作室。

Shan Zheqi 单哲奇

Shan graduated from Jingdezhen Ceramic Institute and participated in a one year exchange at the Korean National University of Cultural Heritage.
毕业于景德镇陶瓷学院。2005年曾在韩国传统文化学校学习陶瓷工艺一年,现就职于景德镇乐天陶社设计工作室。

Xu Lei 徐磊

Xu is now working in  The Pottery Workshop Jingdezhen Design Studio.
09赴日本陶艺学习考察, 现就职于景德镇乐天陶社设计工作室。

Chen Yi He 陈义和

Chen Yi He is Dong Dong’s right-hand man, helping out with all aspects of production in the Design Studio.
义和是冬冬的助手，现就职于景德镇乐天陶社设计工作室，主要在设计工作是的生产环节负责监督。

Artist Residentcy

Eric Kao

Eric Kao has travelled extensively through North America, Europe, Asia and Oceania studying cultures, how clay is used traditionally and as expression.  He has come to The Pottery Workshop, Jingdezhen to continue his studio practice from the United States.  Eric’s most recent body of work examines the importance of tradition and his commitment to foster the existence of his remarkable heritage.   As a member of The Pottery Workshop team, Eric works directly with the residents as an interpreter around town and managing the upstairs residency studio.
Eric Kao曾经在北美洲，欧洲，亚洲和大洋洲游历，丰富的游历经历让他深入的了解了陶瓷的使用传统和表现方式。在他最近的作品中，他继续发展了他在美国的陶瓷理念，并重新审视了传统在陶瓷创作中的重要性。2009年Eric Kao加入到景德镇乐天陶社，作为乐天的一分子，Eric Kao主要负责乐天驻场艺术家项目，并负责工作室日常翻译工作。

Xiong Bai Xu 熊白煦

An all-round office assistant and artist guide, Bai Xu has taken on the difficult task of making everything run smoothly.
白煦是我们艺术家驻场项目的全职翻译和助手，她对景德镇的情况非常了解，所以能够帮助艺术家在景德镇更顺利的进行创作。

Yu Lingling 余玲玲

08年毕业于杭州中国美术学院，09赴日本陶艺学习考察, 现就职于景德镇乐天陶社，主要负责C2展厅的管理及咖
啡店经营，陶瓷作品销售。
Lingling  graduated from the China Academy of Art in Hangzhou and is currently our shop manager at the Jingdezhen PWS.

Shen Cheng Cheng 沈呈呈

08年毕业于杭州中国美术学院，09赴日本陶艺学习考察，现就职于景德镇乐天陶社，主要负责乐天陶艺教育基地。
Chengcheng  graduated from the China Academy of Art in Hangzhou and is currently our Education Center manager at the Jingdezhen PWS.
