The Pottery Workshop (PWS) is a ceramic art education and communication center established in Hong Kong in 1985. In 2005, Caroline Cheng established the Jingdezhen studio.
Jingdezhen PWS is a world class ceramic center headed by Takeshi Yasuda which offers over 1000 square meters of air conditioned studio space, experimental factory, gallery, shop, cafe and residence hall. The PWS Gallery showcases ceramics from all over the world, and the Nine Windows Cafe provides a space for artists to interact with the local public.

Friday Night Lecture Series
Every Friday we offer a slide talk by international artists who are visiting Jindezhen. This full house event has been attended by local artisans, students, as well as artists from all over the world.
The Pottery Workshop Gallery
The Gallery is opened daily to the public, and features international and artists’ work. All resident artists have an opportunity to exhibit their work here during their stay in Jingdezhen. Students are encouraged to make full use of the space, free of charge, to exhibit their work.
