The Pottery Workshop in Jingdezhen presents CREATIVE! – Annual Young Designers’ Market and Activities, 18-22 October, 2008.

Jingdezhen is has been the porcelain capital of the world since Ming Dynasty over 500 years ago.
In order to promote and encourage young artists in Jingdezhen, the Pottery Workshop has been hosting this annual event of creative market in conjunction with the official Jingdezhen Ceramic Fair.
This year over 120 young artists from all over China will be showing their work in the Sculpture Factory, we promise you an exciting event. Open daily 8am-5pm.
Along with the market, the Pottery Workshop has organized fun filled Throwing Competition (Throwing with your feet? With gloves on? Blind folded?) and Ceramic English Competition. Sponsored by Shimpo.
Also the rock group Lan Cao (兰草
will be performing on the 19th October, 3-4pm. This American and Mongolian rock group blends music from the grasslands of China and America to make a unique and exciting performance not to be missed!
从500年前的明代开始，景德镇就已经是瓷都了。为了推广和鼓励景德镇的年轻艺术家，乐天陶社联合国际陶瓷博览会组委会一起举办了这个每年一次的创意集市。19号下午3-4点现场表演。
兰草乐队有美国音乐人和蒙古族音乐人共同组成，因此他们的音乐也把中国的大草原和美国大草原的音乐结合在了一起，独特，精彩。绝对不容错过！
