Masakazu Kusakabe: Japanese Wood-Fired Ceramics
For almost 40 years, Masakazu Kusakabe has been building all types of wood kilns in the traditional Japanese manner. Mr. Kusakabe is recognized around the world as a master kiln builder, and he has given workshops in a number of places outside Japan. In 2005, Mr. Kusakabeco-authored the book Japanese Wood-Fired Ceramics with Marc Lancet. This book is quickly becoming regarded as the authoritative work on the subject.
